We had a fun birthday party for Soren at the Lodge. I cooked a yummy zuppa tuscana (italian soup), we opened presents and let Soren have at his own cake! We were hoping he would make a huge mess of his cake, but he was pretty tired by the time we got done with dinner and presents. All in all it was fun and will be memorable. I think the funniest part of the night was his interest in all the chandeliers and ceiling fans. He would grab at his presents then immediately be distracted and point and say, "da!!"
